Best Samsung Phones in 2025 So Far

You adore the Samsung One UI and the other bells & whistles it offers. I can relate to that.

But Samsung is one of those manufacturers that has a massive list of mobile phones to choose from. Whether you have a ‘really’ tight budget or you can spend to get the best option from their lineup, you will be well covered.

Speaking of the options, there are a lot of them, and it can get confusing. From the M series to the F, it is too much to comprehend at this point. But you don’t need to worry, as I will be talking about only the best option from the Korean tech giants. If you want to grab some popcorn or Doritos, get them, and let’s talk about the best Samsung phones in detail.

  • Samsung Galaxy A56 – The Best Bang for Your Buck

If some stranger pulls up and asks, “Recommend me the best Samsung phone in 10 seconds”, I’d probably be naming the Galaxy A56. Why? It is the easiest choice to recommend among all the Samsung phones.

Under $400, this is the best Samsung phone that you can ask for – great display, battery, cameras, and okay-ish performance for the money.

Starting with the display, it’s the best for a phone that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. It has a Super AMOLED display, which means vibrant colors and serious brightness for your eyes. The size of the display is 6.7 inches diagonally for your ultimate content consumption needs. It clocks at 120Hz, making it a smooth display. Since it is AMOLED, it can get bright enough (1900 nits to be precise, we are talking here), so that you don’t have blind spots like your car mirror when it is viewed outdoors.

Now, let’s turn our attention to its performance: for the price, it is a fine performer. It is powered by an Exynos 1580 (4nm) chipset that doesn’t make it a beast performer but just okay. I have tested this phone thoroughly by playing games while it was connected to my high-speed Verizon Internet. The result? It did miss a beat once in a while, especially when it got hot. Apart from that, it works just fine.

Last but not least, the battery life is one of the most important aspects of a phone, so let’s talk about that. The Galaxy A56 packs a 5000mAh battery, which, in my usage, is enough to last the whole day. Then, as a cherry on top, Samsung has (surprisingly offered) 45W super-fast charging with this midranger. I am impressed that it can charge from 0 to 65% in just 30 minutes.

All in all, this is really one of the best phones that Samsung has offered for under 400 bucks.

  • Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra – The Absolute Best from Samsung

If you need the best of the best from Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy 25 Ultra is your best bet.

Why? Let me explain.

When it comes to the Ultra, Samsung plays it safe, and that is why the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is essentially a boring phone. It has a safe design that appeals to most people, the latest and greatest processor from Qualcomm, the best camera system, a big battery, a phenomenal display, and everything that is included in a flagship phone.

After having every top-notch feature, how does it perform in real life? Again, boring but phenomenal.

Let’s start with the cameras first: it is a four-camera system at the back, two of them are zoom lenses, one being the periscope, and the other two are ultrawide lenses, and a main 200MP shooter. As impressive as it sounds on paper, the Galaxy S25 Ultra performs really well when it comes to real life. The photos look sharp and vibrant, and have enough details in them, thanks to the 200MP sensor on the back.

The ultrawide lens is nice too. Although most of the ultrawide lenses in smartphones struggle, the S25 Ultra is an exception. It is really good.

As for the videos, the details are great, and since it has a bigger 200MP sensor at the back, it captures enough light. Speaking of which, the night photography as well as videography via the S25 Ultra is great. The scene gets just bright enough to capture the necessary details in the video. It’s good overall.

As for the performance, I can safely call it a beast. I have thrown heavy video edits at it, multiplayer games, and multitasking, and it didn’t even miss a beat. Thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor coupled with the 12 GB of LPDDR4 RAM, it is a super performer.

It’s not all sunshine and rainbows, though, as the battery is slightly less for a phone this huge and powerful. I mean, you can kill it in a day.

Anyway, if you are not a heavy mobile user and you don’t play games for more than an hour a day on your phone, you will be all set with the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Before narrowing down on your favorite Samsung phone, do take a moment to consider not just the specs, but also how each of these features will help your day-to-day activities. The right Samsung device for you shouldn’t be the most expensive one, but rather the one that best fits your lifestyle!
